Dr. Werner has practiced skin cancer treatment and skin surgery as part of his practice since 1995. Dr. Werner was trained and certified by Allergan,who are the makers of Botox Cosmetic and Juvederm and Medicis (Galderma), the maker of Restylane and Dysport. He has received advanced training in both laser and light based therapies. Dr. Werner was a Luminary speaker for Fraxel Laser, Lutronics Lasers and and Injectable Trainer for Solana Medspas.

In 2021, Dr Werner was honored by the Allergan Medical Institute, as an expert, who  trains other medical professionals in the art of aesthetic injectable treatments.
